THE TERRITORY<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

With its current eight municipalities, Valchiusella falls right within the definition of internal area. A territory which, given the current level of risk of fragility and vulnerability, requires the integration of tools to support the reduction of inequalities in terms of access to essential services. At the same time, the Municipalities of Valchiusella, with their demographic, epidemiological, road and environmental characteristics, combined with their political, social, and cultural history, represent an ideal territory for becoming a model of experimentation, research, and training.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TRAINING GROUND<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project “Mountains in Motion \u2013 Wellness houses \u2013 Valchiusella laboratory<\/strong>” aims to build a reality of study, research and experimentation spread throughout the territory, within which the different disciplinary readings of the reality carried out during the internships will interact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE SKILLS NETWORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Municipal Administrations, the Piedmontese Regional Coordination of SOMS (Workers’ Mutual Aid Societies) and the local Associations involved guarantee the project a “Network of Skills” made up of qualified volunteers who devote themselves to welcoming and accompanying students during their entire period there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
